Let’s dive in 🏊
Lido
Lido shares V3 staking infrastructure with modular stVaults
Lido has unveiled its V3 infrastructure, introducing "stVaults" as a new primitive that transforms its staking architecture from a monolithic pool into a flexible, modular system. This update aims to maintain the core benefits of stETH liquidity and composability while accommodating a broader range of staking requirements. The stVault system allows institutions, large token holders, and specialized validators to create dedicated vaults with customizable parameters, including validation settings, fee structures, and risk-reward profiles.
The implementation of V3 will proceed through a strategic three-phase rollout: initial early adopter testing, testnet deployment, and mainnet launch. Community discussions have highlighted the importance of strengthening protocol-community alignment through enhanced LDO staking mechanisms and revenue sharing initiatives.
Everclear
Everclear DAO considers 100M CLEAR grants program
Everclear has proposed allocating 10% of the total CLEAR supply (100M tokens) to ecosystem development through a structured grants program. The initiative aims to onboard key ecosystem participants—including solvers, rebalancers, market-makers, and intent-bridges—as stakeholders and volume drivers of the protocol.
The program outlines a distribution of 4.2M CLEAR monthly over 24 months, starting March 2025. All tokens will be subject to a 12-month linear unlock period to ensure long-term alignment. This strategic initiative targets increasing monthly rebalancing volume to $1B, enabling the protocol to achieve greater economies of scale and deliver substantial cost savings across the industry.
Aave
Aave Labs introduces framework for GHO as network gas token
Aave Labs has proposed a framework for implementing GHO as a gas token across various networks. The framework emphasizes the use of native bridges as primary liquidity pools, embedding security and liquidity management directly into network infrastructure. This design choice reduces dependency on external liquidity providers while maintaining compatibility with Aave's broader cross-chain strategy, including potential integrations with messaging protocols like Chainlink CCIP.

Proposal Tracker™️
⚡ VOTING UNDERWAY | Gitcoin DAO - Voting for 5 Delegates (2025 Delegate Nominations)
Summary: This proposal outlines Gitcoin's shift to a professional delegate system for 2025, replacing the current steward model. Five delegates will serve January-June 2025, each receiving $2,500 GTC quarterly and managing ~1M GTC from treasury. Delegates must maintain 90% vote participation while contributing to strategic planning and GG Community Rounds. Eligibility requires Web3 experience, security compliance, and conflict disclosure. Nominees up for election include PGov, SEEDGov, Tané, and more.
⚡ VOTING UNDERWAY | Everclear - Grants BORG Formation
Summary: This proposal seeks to establish the Everclear Grants BORG, a “cybernetic organization” with $96,000 in setup costs ($70,000 MetaLeX, $26,000 Cayman Islands) and $11,500 annual maintenance. The initiative uses multisig SAFEs with programmatic treasury controls, features automated CLEAR token sale limits, grant caps, and failsafe protocols. Security includes deadman's switches and DAO veto powers. The framework combines onchain and offchain enforcement, integrates MetaVesT smart contracts for time-vested grants, and maintains conflict of interest policies.
💬 DISCUSSION | Aave - Deploy Aave on Soneium
Summary: This proposal outlines Aave's deployment on Soneium, an Ethereum L2 developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs. The plan details specific asset deployments for USDC ($11.08M market cap), WETH ($13.27M bridged liquidity), and ASTR ($18.6M market cap), supported by 100M ASTR for liquidity incentives.
