Let’s go 🧪
Lab Activity 🔬
🎒 The Gang Attends DAO Day
On Thursday, we jumped on a fireside chat with the ConsenSys team for their monthly DAO Day webinar. We spoke about the role of professional delegation, the governance tooling landscape, and how to drive impact in the DAOs you contribute to.
Huge thanks to Cameron and the rest of the ConsenSys crew for inviting us on. 🫡
🛬 Now Arriving: DAO Tokyo
In April, the StableLab team heads east to Tokyo, Japan. Bobby and Doo will have the honor of speaking at the majestic Kanda Myojin Shrine Hall for the inaugural DAO Tokyo Event. If you plan to be around, reach out to us on Twitter.

🔴 Optimism Retro Public Good Funds Voting is Live
Round two of Optimism’s RetroPGF voting is now underway. As one of the 90 badge holders, we look forward to funding projects with over $20M worth of OP tokens. We recently attended the kickoff call and can’t wait to dive in and make our choices. ✨
❇️ Coming Soon: DAOmeter
We’ve been hard at work building something very special. It’s almost ready…
Follow, so you don’t miss it ◎
Our Proposals
🫧 Element DAO
Summary: We’ve posted a proposal to introduce an official contribution framework, retiring the old working group framework. The new proposed implementation would fund external parties as temporary contributors and automatically off-board them at the end of their service.
Parties interested in contributing to Element DAO must:Submit a formal governance proposal requesting funds using the provided template
Serve an initial term of three months
Provide frequent updates on progress and work
Wind down / off-board at end of the term

🛢️ Euler
RFC: New EUL Distribution Strategy
Summary: To ensure EUL tokens are distributed effectively, we introduced this proposal to scale back the current amount of tokens distributed from 52K to 36K. Each epoch, EUL token rewards are handed out through various protocol incentive mechanisms including staking rewards, gauge rewards, and more.
Here, our proposal strategically saves the DAO 230K / per month, saves the extra EUL for future integrations and products, and ensures the protocol is decentralizing efficiently. A quarterly review of this EUL distribution scheme by the community is also introduced.Author: Matt & Bobby

🎠 1inch
Summary: Introducing a Fast-Track Proposal Process provides 1inch DAO with a flexible governance mechanism capable of handling time-sensitive emergencies. Our proposal outlines the domains or situations in which this proposal style is to be introduced. In practice, a governance thread would last 24hrs, followed by a Snapshot vote for 48hrs, thereafter the proposed changes are ratified.

Element Finance Releases Council SDK
On-chain governance is having a renaissance thanks in large part to the team over at Element Finance. On Thursday, the Element team published an SDK component for Council, an innovative custom governance framework that “represents the next evolution for on-chain governance." DAO operators and builders can use the new open-source all-in-one software to build and manage DAOs easily. Dive in here.
A new governance tool has landed on the scene. Senate promises to solve governance pain points by providing a one-stop vote management tool letting you easily track your on and off-chain proposal votes through a custom notification and email reminder system. Check it out here.
